I have a 2015 Four Winns powered by Volvo 320 (5.7) with a DPS-B drive. I have three seasons on it and would like to replace the bellows as maintenance. The marina I keep the boat in has the drive off and will do the test and replace fluids. They don't have a Volvo cert. mechanic. Since it will be my first time replacing them, does anyone know where I can find a step by step procedure? I want to learn the procedure as the last time I had a Mercury mechanic replace Volvo bellows he put sealant on them and caused leaks which wipped out the gimble and drive shaft. Since I can't get a Volvo mechanic to my marina to do it while the drive is off I would like to tend to it myself. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Shouldn't need bellows at two years old. They could last for 5-7 years. Maybe longer

True and if you want to do it yourself see if you can get a VP shop manual because that way you re doing it the right way and you will also save $$$ on many other jobs.
While the newer drives are different the VP-SX style bellows could last as long as 10 seasons if stored down.

Thank you for the input. Other than fine adjustments when on plane, the drive is always down. I guess I'm just paranoid since my previous experiences with the last boat. Checked them out this morning and decided to leave well enough alone. I went on the V.P. website and ordered the shop manuals for the engine and drive. I'm sure it will be god reading over the winter. Thanks again.

The shop manual should tell you how to inspect. If there are no cracks in the rubber and its still flexible and not brittle they should be good to go. I can't see them being bad after 2 years as already indicated.
One thing you have to watch is if you are in salt all summer the marine growth can stick to the rubber and when you trim it could make a wear spot and cut through. Some of those shells are sharp...
