Couple thoughts....1st check the fuel vent by loosening gas cap and running it on the water. It's a simple check and if issue goes away you may have a bug nest in fuel vent tube...takes seconds the check.

2nd...theres an online fuel filter screen on the fuel rail that's simple to remove. It's actually a recall that your supposed to remove and replace with a stainless c clamp. If not done you need to change it anyway and the clip cost about 2 dollars. You can double check your model to make sure it applies but it did on my 2008 model. The screen on mine was clogged with the paint from inside of fuel pump.

You can check fuel pressure by using free loaner gauge from autozone...but if pump was bad I would expect you would be hearing the dreaded fuel pump whine.

if its the same fuel pump i have then i would do the free fuel pressure system check first....if not then disregard, but those pumps are expensive. At some point they fixed the issue with painting the inside of them, but not sure what year that happened. I say that as you may have one of the good ones and if pressure is good i would save the money.

Also - interesting the issue started after the electrical repairs made. I am just thinking of the simple free checks you can do to isolate the issue....you can check for spark at each of the plugs with a cheap spark tester. I think i paid around 8 dollars for mine and have used it on boat and other equipment. it could be something as simple as a bad plug wire not making connection which means you 8 cylinders may not all be firing.

i personally would do these cheap checks before shelling out 100s
