I'm searching for a replacement lower unit for a 1999 Vista 258 with a Volvo SX outdrive on a 5.7 GSi engine. Anyone know what the gear ratio is on this setup? I don't have access to the boat right now so I can't check any numbers. Due to corrosion the mechanic broke the bearing carrier and is at a loss on what to do to remove the rest of the carrier that is still stuck in the housing. |

I learned that the gear ratio is 1:51. |
