Post subject:  Input shaft seal replacement

I have gear oil in my bellows. it was first observed last fall when replacing u-joins. This year I kept a close watch on out drive oil level and can happily say that it was fine so far all year, but when I pulled the drive tonight, more gear oil in the bellows. Were talking a small amount of oil, maybe a few of the folds have an 1/8" in them.

Anybody have experience replacing this input shaft seal? I would like to "cheat" and not replace the crush sleeve. I could monitor running torque and bolt head position prior to tear down, replace the seal, and put the bolt right back to where it was. If I have to replace the crush sleeve I think I will take the upper bearing housing assy to the Volvo Penta shop in town and have them do it. I don't have air tools to crush the sleeve.

Here's a recent video I found detailing this subject. I posted a few comments to the OP about this same subject.
