Post subject:  VP lower unit lub replacement

is it just me or is it painfully slow replacing the gear oil? am i doing something wrong or is there a better way? It took nearly all day to get 2 liters in and have 1/2 to go - or so....

like watching grass grow.

Slow draining or slow filling? Do you have the dip stick and vent plug out?

Also, are you pumping it in from the bottom until it comes out the vent?

no that would make sense, I did as per manual. slow going on the refill end using gravity. Will try pumping up next time.

Oops. Miss read i think.. Filing is o.k but slow draining. :oops:
