Guidelines call for greasing the universal and gimbal every other year, but that could be a dramatic range of hours. One owner may log in 15 hrs/yr, while another logs in 115 hrs. Can't greasing be tied to hours of use rather than the calendar? ........What say 'yee?

With repsect to greasing of those components, since you have to remove the drive to inspect for water intrusion anyway, it should be a yearly job regardless of hours. You want to check the gimble bearing to make sure it turns easily and the u-joints for binding. I built a stand out of wood with casters underneath it to make removing the Cobra easier.
