ok so i have been looking around and it seems that there is a very small selections of props for volvo outdrives. I have the 3.0l and am looking for a prop for it. I wakeboard so holeshot is preferable. I hear taking the same pitch and diameter and getting a 4 blade helps a ton. I am thinking about adding 200-400 lbs of balast to the boat so I need something with more punch asside from a bigger motor LOL. Any ones experience. I'm not looking for stainless would rather go with just plain old aluminium. Thanks |

my 03 campion 505 17ft had the same set up as you and I went from a 19p 3 blade to a 17p 3 blade and it made a big difference on the bottom end I think it slowed it down a bit on the top but that was not a issue for me. |

yes 14.5. You also may want to look at a 4 blade I just went from a 21p 3 blade to a 18p 4 blade on my h200 with 220 merc and it made a big difference in the hole shot but my goal was to keep the boat on plane at 16-18 mph while the kids wake board and now it works great before you were always on the throttle one way or the other. I am at 3400 ft also. |
