Anyone ever use these for their Volvo engines?

https://www.amazon.com/Poseidon-Marine- ... 9000&psc=1

I have the 5.0 GXi and need to do the impeller before this season starts.

Owners manual says 3842786.

Michigan Motorz says there's a new part # that replaces the old one: Item Number: 22307636

Cheapest I can find for OEM is $ 53.99 plus shipping. Not sure if Sierra makes one that's compatible (at least I didn't find one in their catalog.)

Thanks.

Found a few OEM's on eBay using the new part #. I think it was 46.99 shipped, probably going to go with that.

I also have a 5.0 GXi. If you are going to go non-OEM, you can get new ones from ebay for less than 20 bucks. Search for "VOLVO PENTA RAW WATER PUMP IMPELLER KIT FOR 21213664 22307636"

This will be my 3rd year using them. When I pull the old one out in the spring, it still looks new with no damage and the rubber is still very flexible.
I keep last years onboard in case of a failure. However, the only failure I have had was years ago with a true VP OEM impeller. The 5.0Gxi in the H200 '07 will beep and warn you if temps go out of range as well, so its not like the old days where its like, "Hey, I smell something burning".. lol

I think possibly its more important to have one that has not been sitting in a warehouse for too long getting hot and old... Because of this, I always buy a fresh one every year and don't buy any brand-new spares.

Maybe I'll try that next year, thanks.

I remember our 95 Horizon 190 getting hot before, but not sure if it had an alarm. Glad to hear the newer ones have an alarm that goes off if it gets too hot.
