Does anybody know the lift expectancy of the risers on these freshwater engines? 415 hours.

If they have always been in fresh water you shouldn't have any issues. We here up in the Great Lakes/ Georgian Bay very rarely ever have to replace risers

Those risers might be stainless. My 2002 8.1HO horizons are stainless.
Had my engines inspected 2 years ago. needed new gaskets and one manifold was starting to show signs so we replaced it. The manifolds last a long time as well with the closed cooled system.

You guys in freshwater are lucky. Here in salt water a raw water cooled exhaust is considered disposable. 5-7 years and you have to replace, unless your manifolds are on the closed cooling side. Then again salt water does not rot wood cored transoms!
