Hello all I’ve got a 1995 5.0 horizon 190 The gimbal housing needs replacement and I found a penta sx housing but it appears it was off 4.3L The part no is 914533 but mine is 3851976 Looks the same. Will it work? Thanks |

Sometimes the parts numbers change when they get superseded but they are the same part. Are the 2 parts from the same model year? Is one # a Volvo # and the other an OMC #? Edit: the 3851976 is for sure an OMC Cobra part number volvo numbers are notoriously difficult to look up....their system never made sense to me because there are no model years only model numbers and obscure codes that only volvo aficiandos understand.... the best I can tell you is that if it was from a 1995 Volvo Penta SX it should be the same part! |
