My temperature gauge still works, but it is way off... Its a simple old style analog gauge on an '07 H200. Problem is, it shows 140-150 when cold, then goes to 190-200 at normal running temp. Exhaust manifolds feel normal once warmed up. Everything seems fine, I would just like to make this more realistic somehow. Anyone know of a way to do this?

For the curious, I tried this once before and it didn't work, but today it did. Hit the gauge with knuckles while cruising and the offset dropped off. It's the gauge.

Again, for the curious, I opted to remove my 4 gauge cluster and utilize Faria Beade's repair service. It was just under $150 and they got it done faster than was quoted and mailed it back to me. Additionally, it looked brand new when I got it back! I installed it, and everything is working awesome again. I definitely recommend their service-- I opted this route so I could still keep the Four Winns OEM'd logo design rather than buying a new one which almost matches. Couldn't be happier!

Glad to hear their repair service works well.
I still have the 35 year old Medallion gauges in my old '88 H-200 and they all still work (including the trim gauge but to keep that working I replace the sensor every 5 or so seasons). A few years after this pic was taken I repaired both the speedo (just cleaned out the hose) and the low reading voltmeter (wiring issue) pic must be about 10 years old!

Nice LouC! I must admit, you are the master at keeping older craft working!

Thanks, I actually prefer older simpler tech like carburetors and points distributors, parts are easy to find, repairs aren't hard when you know how these archaic systems work.
I look at modern I/O boats and between poor access for repairs, expensive to repair EFI, cat converter exhaust, sky high parts prices for everything be it Merc or V/P and CANBUS wiring, I say no thanks. Like you used to see on the back of a TV set "no user serviceable parts inside"
