The cotter pin holding my prop assembly has only one bent pin. (See pic) Is that normal? Did one side break off? Should there be two? Am I risking having it all fall apart?
Replacing easy enough, I suppose. Any idea of the size or would any pin that fits work?
UPDATE: NEVER MIND - I tested the integrity of the pin by tugging on the hub and the remaining pin cracked. So I removed it and replaced it with a 1/8th x 1.5 inch STEEL cotter pin. They didn't have stainless. When I find a stainless I will replace it again.
