Have not yet found a satisfactory way to remove the old oil. The marina pro vacuum pump was a disastor!! So many connectors to get the size of the tubing needed that twice I spilled oil. You'd think they would make it without all those connectors. Pumped and pumped and only got two quarts out! Is there a oil changer that screws directly to the dip stick fitting? |

This is what I use
I've put a female garden hose end on the tube. It attaches tightly to the oil dipstick. Tricliest part was increasing he tube size to fit on the garden hose end barb. |

Larry, If you have a mercruiser, the answer is a hose that bolts up the drain plug. You run the hose out the bilge, uncap it, and viola. You can do some searches on http://www.boatingABC.com, or http://www.trailerboats.com. There has been a lot of discussion on this very topic. Good Luck! D |

Thanks a lot....the ABC site was great. Seems the trick is to connect to the hose fitting on the dipstick instead of fishing a small tube trough the dip stick holder. |
