Volvo 4.3 OSI. When the side button is pushed in the side of the shifter to rev the engine, it does not pop back out when the shifter is put back to neutral. As a result, the throttle will not put the engine in gear. Any ideas how to repair or get to the problem. Thanks, Tim Vista 288 2004....... |

May simply be a case of taking the cover off and squirting some lube in it. Once you get the cover off you should be able to work out what is happening in more detail - it's a fairly simple mechanical device. Just need to be careful and patient. |
