I have a stainless prop that is well all scratched up. Looks crappy. I have a new one coming, but going to keep this one as a spare. I tried a few things to polish it back up with no luck. Anyone know of anything that works really good without taking it some where? It has kind of deep scratchs. Bought the boat used and it almost looks like someone took sand paper to it.

Since no one else has answered...

I know this isn't what you asked for, but Bob at http://www.midwestpropeller.com will make it like new and balance it for a reasonable price.

I've had work done there, and been back in the shop. It's a very trustworthy company.

I'll back Mike up on this one. I'm been there a few times in my many years of boating. Great outfit! My dad actually got me in touch with them. When he lived in Colo, he would ship his props to them for work. They are local to us, and have been VERY helpful in getting me propped right.
