Yes mine had both in the box and like you said the green one is suppose to be for diesel applications. I would think it should work fine, but maybe not. It may be a slightly different size.

So I ordered a new impeller kit and when I opened the box it only had one o-ring in it which is green. Instructions say the green one is for diesel only! Wondering why it would matter unless they are a different size? Stopped by my local dealer yesterday and they didn't know the answer and didn't stock the correct one. I know its only a $2.00 o-ring online, but shipping is $10.00 for a $2.00 part which seems silly. |

Im pretty sure it should of had one of each in the box. I hate it when shit like that happens. Not your fault, but will likely end up paying the shipping. |

OK an update. Yes the kit should include the o-ring and they are going to send me one at no charge. |

In fact I stopped there yesterday to see if they had a o-ring on hand (they didn't) and I noticed they stock a lot of Sierra parts instead of OEM VP. I prefer to use OEM parts on my boat as well as my cars. |
