I opened the engine compartment to my Funship 204, this morning, to check the oil and what do I find? Half of the acoustic foam has come off and it's hanging there. I used some double stick tape as a temporary solution for the day. When we got back home, I checked it and the tape didn't hold. It looks like some kind of rubber cement they used. Anyone know? It's bugging me! |

I'd make it a warranty issue with the dealer. |

Ya, it's a warranty issue, but how much usage are you going to loose? All they will do is take a can of spray adhessive spray the surface and re-glue it. Opt for the $6 can from Home Depot and fix it yourself. In my book, certainly less aggrevation. |

What I meant was (but didn't say or make clear), to pull the loose stuff off and hang onto it until end-of-season service. Sounds like they didn't do the adhesive right, and I don't know if heat might need to be considered in choosing a substitute. |
