Hey,
I noticed today that when I started the enginge on the muffs, water leaking out at the bottom of the outdrive. It seemed to be comming from a corrigated line made of rubber or flexable plastice, is this the "bellows".

If so, how hard are the to change (I'm an auto mechanic)? Also it is the long weekend coming this weekend, if I can not get it repaired, can I drive the boat this weekend? And what is/are the belloews and what do they do?

Any extra info you can give would be great, as I am hoping to get out this weekend for my first boating experience on my new boat.

Thanks,
Matt

the bellows is a corragated rubber tube. There are two of them, the larger of the two is the drive bellows. The enclose the drive shaft u joints. the other is the exhuast bellows. if you have water coming out it must be the exhaust, which may be ok. Others on the board will know more than i about it
