Can anyone recomend an electric oil changer that will attach to the threaded dipstick? I have a manual pump, but it's time to uprade.

I use a vacuum oil extraction system ( Pela 6000) and don't bother to use the screw on fitting; I just thread the thin tube down the dipstick tube. As long as the oil is hot (which it should be begore it's extracted) t's quick and not messy at all.

Jabsco makes a couple of good ones. Mine is a 3 gallon flat bucket witha 12v pump mounted to it. I warm up the motors, thread the dipstick and it's done in 10 minutes.

Works great on both of my Volvo 5.7's.

Check out various websites for them. They can be had for 100-110 bucks. GREAT investment. Pays for itself with your first oil change!

Buy the better (more expensive) Jabsco. The cheap one is, well...cheap and didn't last me more than a season.
