| Post subject: | House, Engine electrical seperation, how?? |
I have a 96 258 Vista that I am trying to seperate the engine from the house. I know I'm looking for an 8 gauage wire Red w/Blue stripe but can't find it anywhere in the engine compartment. I have found two of them under the dash that come in but can't find the other ends with out cutting up the wire wraps in the engine well. I have searched all over the engine trying to find them and no success. Does anyone have any idea of where to look? Have you seperated the house from the engine power? I've changed the batteries to 12v start and two 6v (12v combined) for the house with a blue sea 7650 switch and ACR, Xantrex True charge 40 charger and want a total seperation between the two battery banks. Help of any kind will be appreciated. I've looked at the schematics for the boat and see where they start at but I can't find that area. Thanks, Eric |
