Does anyone know the size of the O ring on a DP drain plug? Would like to have on to put on when I drain the gear lube. |

Not sure what the size is. Last spring when I changed the drive oil, the o-ring was worn, so I took it up to the local mom and pops hardware store, where they had a drawer full of all sizes, and just matched it up to what I had. I bought three of them for under 40 cents. |

VP part number is 955981 if you want to be sure (at least on the '05's). |

My only concern with using a non-OEM one is how compatible the material of construction is with that synthetic gear lube. Graham |
