well things are looking better now....i had a leak behind the engine that i thought was serious i had all kinds of ideas from people around the dock....turns out i had a bellows split open ....and my mechanic at the marina thinks its my shift cable thats out of adjustment.causing my engagement problems.. nothing serious...im planning on replacing the gimbal 1 bellows and u joints....at least now i know exactly whats wrong....and will repair it all.....i was told by my mechanic with the penta duoprop..tilt your trim up start the boat ..if the outdrive wobbles periodically that your u joints either need greased or replaced..i thought the growl i had was the gimbal..he said might just be the ujoints...he will give me a full report in the next day or 2 |
