Just had this same issue with my 2004 H210 with Mercruiser Mag - almost made it to shore under power but about 500 yards from shore the belt flew off and couldn't get it back on. Made it back okay and no harm to the engine but now that I'm home I'm looking to fix the issue and I'll be damned if I can get to any of the pump mounting screws. it's just to tight to get to the back right side. Does the motor have to be pulled from the boat to access the mounting hardware for the pump or am I just too inflexible?
