Funny this comes up now, I am as we speak trying this stuff on a marginal deep cycle battery and so far after 3 discharge/recharges (product literature says 5 is optimum) it is still marginal, in other words it looks like I should have saved my money.

I have found over the years the best way is a battery charger with the equalizing feature, unfortunatley I sold the last boat I had one on.
