So, all of the sudden my 99 volvo duo prop 350 has started idling up. It doesn't do it right away. Only after the motor is up to temp and I have been running it a bit. Pulling a skier or tube, when I take it out of gear the idle goes up to 1200 or so. If I turn it off and restart it the idle goes back to normal. I have even gane as far as to turn the key off and on again really fast. The motor doesn't even have a chance to die, but it makes the idle come back down. I am guessing a sensor of some type. Not sure where to look first, any suggestions ?

I would say either TPS, Throttle Position Sensor, or the Temp sensor. Most Injected motors have at least two temp sensors, one for the gauge and one for the CPU.
