I can't seem to get water to flow from the outdrive pump. Omc cobra outdrive, new impeller. I took the water pump cover off to confirm the shaft was spinning when I cranked the engine and it looked to be rotating properly. I blew air through all passages to confirm there were no blockages. Air moved freely from inside the boat through to outdrive water pump and from outdrive water pump through the intake screens on the outdrive. Does anybody have any suggestions?

The air is the problem. Crack loose the inlet line from the outdrive until you get some water leaking through it. You might also have to loosen the one on the bottom of the water pump on the front of the motor. When you checked the passages, did you check the one on the bottom of the drive that feeds the pump? This will be the first thing that will plug up.

I would put my bet on air in the lines first.
