I have a 2010 H183 with a 4.3 and SX-A drive. Inoticed I had an oil slick at the loading ramp today. When checking it out at home I discover my shift cable is split. It seems to be too long and it shoved into the trim hydraulic lines and caused the port most line to leak. I straightened the line by removing the 2 allen bolts then put it back together. I topped up the fluid and now the drive is not tilting properly. It was going up and down but making noise. I assume air in the lines? Now I have hydraulic oil in the bilge too. The problem has gotten from bad to worse. Any ideas why the fluid would be in the bilge? Its still under warranty but now i'm on a long weekend without my boat. To top it off I go on holidays the week after next.
