You can use the Merc Hi Performance Gear Lube (greenish/blue stuff) I've used it in my Cobra for 7 years with no issues, at the recommendation of my mechanics... MAKE SURE you fill it the right way, most of them take 64 oz of gear oil. Do you have an OMC manual, if not do a search on the OMC forum on iboats, the procedure is listed on there..... |

yes i have the omc manual. mine takes 60oz |
