today i noticed my block plug leaking while on the water. should i just buy another one and consider it fixed being that i dont know how old the current on is? |

Ronan - consider putting what boat(s) you own and what engine in your signature here on the site, so it shows up in every thing you post, or at least reference them in your thread. |

Much better!  If I remember correctly, the 3.0 freeze plugs are very easy to replace. Make sure you get the marine (brass?) ones. I had a 3.0 in my first boat... great little motor. I rode that boat hard and put it away wet and that 3.0 never skipped a beat. |

I would replace it and call it fixed (but then I would still look next time on the water to make sure it was really fixed). |
