Hi--Does anyone know the size of the O ring for the fuel filler seal on a 288? I have had trouble finding these at WestMarine
and other stores. Some tell me, take it in to a dive shop or some other specialty shop. I don't want to take it off, until I am sure I have one that is going to fit in my hand. Appreciate any info on what size and any suggestions of sources to buy.
Thanks,
Mike288 in Toronto, Ontario

I went to the local hardware store a few years ago and they had them. As you said, O-ring, it should not be a specialty item. I would just measure the size & thickness and do a web search.

I did a search & here is one of many http://www.oringwarehouse.com/?gclid=CJ ... 4AodV3-YtQ

Use there size chart!

Go to a local hardware store. They will have an assortment of O-rings.
