i recently purchased a 1994 190 horizon with a 5.0l and a cobra drive. while flushing my motor out this weekend i noticed that the exhaust bellow is leaking. my question is how hard is it to pull the drive? while i am there should i do all of them? is there anything else i should replace or do while the drive is off? what is a reputable parts company for omc parts? any help is greatly appreciated. Some of the exhaust bellows "leak" intentionally. You might want to make sure of what you have before you go to all the trouble. |

if it's leaking past the transom, who cares. water isn't going to come in, and it's not going to affect performance. |

Same thing my mechanic told me. Replacing the exhaust bellow makes no sense. Now if the u-joint bellows starts leaking, then that requires immediate attention.... |

Yeah, I noticed the same thing this spring......went to my mechanic who said there is a slit in the bottom of the exhaust bellows which lets water out while on a hose......I had never noticed before I guess! |
