:roll: :?: Ok i bought my boat from man who used it in salt water and i have no idea what material are anodes made from?
I am boating only in fresh water and i need to change the drive anodes
but my question is:
Which material should i use in fresh water aluminium,zinc,magnesium?
I read about this on more pages but now i am more confused i dont understand anything about the anodes...

As Partycove said, Mg for fresh water, Aluminum is used in salt. Zinc works in fresh and salt but not as well as the ones you should use.

Salt water/Brackish = Zinc

Fresh = Magnesium

Salt/Brackish/Fresh = Aluminum
