In my boat, my oil filter is almost impossible to get at. I have to take out the back bench seat to get a good angle to get it off. So..on my race car I have a remote oil filter setup that moves the filter to a different location. So I was thinking of puttin one on my boat for easier access to the filter. Anyone else done this? |

I had the same issue with my '99 225 Sundowner with the sunsport seating; whole back seat and engine side panel had to come out to get at the oil filter, and even then it wasn't easy. I fitted the VP remote oil filter kit, oil filter was then mounted on the port exhaust riser like on the factory fit remote oil filter that became standard fit later on. Regards, Graham |
