I have a 1999 Volvo penta 5.7l that the upper seal needs replacing. Because of the age of the drive I was told all the seals need replacing : upper and lower. Does that sound right? Estimate is $600-$700 for parts and labor. Does that sound right? Thanks for any input. |

If you are replacing one seal, replace them all. As for the price...its probably about right....may be a bit high, but I think it sounds reasonable considering the labor involved. |
