Can anyone confirm the Mercruiser 5.0 MPI fuel filter part numbers?

I can't get to the boat to look at them and the more I search the more confused I am about the correct ones. :?

I know that there are two, one inline, and one water separating.

The inline i believe is: Model # 7862634 | Manuf. # 18-7721
The water separating filter I have no idea.

From what I gather you have the "Mercruiser Cool Fuel" assembly. I could be wrong. From what I've read, I'm not going to like it as its a cellulose filter material that is an insert, and not a spin on fuel filter.

Once my boat gets up here I'm going to look at adding Racor fuel filters per my surveyors recommendation. They are the normal spin on type, but also have a small water separating reservoir that can be drained out if need be so you can continue on.

http://www.mercurypartsexpress.com/us/index.php as well as http://www.marinepartsexpress.com have good schematics you can view and order off of.

Actually depends on if you have an alpha or bravo setup, a serial number on the engine would help. On almost all of them the alphas still used the screw on filter 35-802893T, the bravos use a cartridge 35-866171A01. The Sierra part number you gave on the inline I believe would be correct if it had one.

Yes engine serial numbers would be nice but the boat is still at the dealer. I pick it up on Saturday.
It is a Bravo and doesn't have the "cool Fuel" assembly. It has the boost pump system.

I think I found them on this page:

Was trying to order some filters to put on this weekend but thats just not working out. I guess I won't know for sure until I get to the boat and look. :(
