Hi everyone, I recently pulled out my boat for a good cleaning today and decided to put it on the muffs and go through some things while I had it out. My drive was not all the way down, but was around 75-85% down. It started up and idled fine, however after letting it warm up a bit I gave it a little gas to clear it out (nothing excessive just a couple blips to approx. 3000 rpm) and noticed a vibration coming from as far as I could tell the volvo sx drive. Once back down to idle zero vibration occurs. I checked to make sure the prop was not engaged so that was not the prob. I had the boat on the water last week and it ran flawlessly, so i dont know if this has been there all along or if it's somewhat normal or what? Any ideas?

Thanks Ben

The outdrive should be all the way down when using the muffs. You likely put too much strain on the u-joints in the outdrive when you throttled it up. I would just monitor it and make sure you are ok at cruise, all trimmed out. Be carefull not to raise it too high in shallow water or you may face the same situation. If you keep having problems, it may be time to take the outdrive off and inspect the u-joints.
