I also posted this in the Horizon section, but wanted to get feedback from a few areas. I am having trouble filling my tank all of a sudden. I was able to put 4 gallons in and the nozzle would click off like it was full. I have had it before where the nozzle would click off at about 3/4 and then I just let it settle and filled it the rest of the way. Any suggestions? I filled it 2 days ago and it filled just fine and then today this. I am tempted to run back down and to the marina and try again to see if it was just a fluke. Any input would be great. Thanks |

I have had issues with certain stations clicking off quick so I had to fill very slow and some stations I could go wide open, but I am trailering and have the option to fill up at any station even though I try to fill up at the same place. so if you are always going to the same marina pumps I would check the vent for a restriction. if your fill inlet hose is in the rear and the bow is up too high it will click off because it fills the hose up too early |

As stated above, check your vent line. If there is a belly in it and depending how it is fastened, there is a chance of fuel getting into the vent line and settling in the belly, thereby blocking the air from leaving the tank as you displace it with fuel. Check it and be sure there is a consistent pitch so that if any fuel does get in there, it will simply roll back into the tank. If your vent line is blocked, the air has no way to escape except straight back up the filler line and that obviously conflicts with the fuel that is trying to make its way down the line. |
