| Post subject: | Smart Tach issues need help |
I have purchased a SS210, and it is equipped with a Smart Tach. When I am pulling someone I get up to speed, and all is well. When they begin putting a load on the boat by cutting out of the wake my speed will drop from 20 mph to 10 mph. The engine never loses RPMs but will never regain its speed. I am wondering if i got ripped off with the smart tow or if my unit is malfucntioning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Not to be a smart arse but did you get a manual with it? A quick look thru might shed some light. You could always do a factory reset and see if that helps. Maybe the problem is tied to a custom profile. http://www.mercurymarine.com/media/merc ... _Guide.pdf |
