+1 That is the way I change the oil and it's so easy! The only part about the whole oil change that I dread is when I have the oil extracted the pump is sitting on top of the container and it doesn't attach so if you grab the handle it can twist on you and spill all the oil right on the floor.

Don't ask me how I found this out!
