Thats the one.. mine was for a 5 lug and he stated if you had the 6 lug you would be the 2.44 dust cap.

I think these are what you need....
and now for a bit more advice....start accumulating spare parts...you need 2 of something, then buy 3 in case one gets damaged some way. In my garage I have (accumulated over 10 years of boat ownership/trailer repair)...
2 complete sets of brake backing plates, ready to bolt on if there's a problem
2 sets of bearings already greased
Spare spindle nuts, washers, tang washers, hub seals
Spare dust caps
Spare rollers
etc etc...
Its good to have some on-line sources but better to have a real trailer shop where you can buy stuff...

Great advice, and something I've already started doing. Since I haven't had the boat that long this is the first trailer maintenance I've done so I don't have any spares for it yet.

Thanks, sorry we must've posted at the same time. Now I just need to figure out the spindle washer size.

No worries. You talkin' about this washer?

If so - I don't have a caliper with me at the office, but the best measurement I can get with a Starrett rule is 1.02" ID / 1.56" OD. Nominally, I imagine they call that 1" x 1 1/2".

+1 to spares, and spares of spares. And with each thing you work on, make a record of part numbers, both manufacturer and seller, along with all pertinent measurements. Such is the burden of boat ownership. ;)

Here's my towing bag, which currently just contains minimal stuff:

Extra 7-round connector, extra hinge pin for the trailer tongue (they do get stolen), extra prop & drive lock keys, a bag full of neoprene gloves (on top of 2 pair of other work gloves)... this is in addition to a tool bag that's so stuffed it's getting hard to carry...

On long tows, I have a complete spare hub, already packed with grease, new bearings and seals, ready to throw on.

Well I think I found my "local" trailer guy. It's a 35 minute trip each way, but I went on my lunch at work got four each caps with plugs, washers and lock nuts for $15 and the guy knew his stuff. Worth the drive for sure, and as a bonus there's two decent size boat dealers for me to drool over on the way.
