ric I though you said you were divorced...are you going to do the Richard Burton/Liz Taylor thing???
As far as used vehicles, I will not even consider something unless its at a local dealer and I can look it over and drive it several times. Anything else is a waste of my time. When I wanted a Hemi powered Grand Cherokee I drove 4 different ones before I found the one that was up to my standard. Four years later and 40,000 miles later it is still a blast to drive. Got it at 2.5 years old for 1/2 the sticker price new. Toyota's good rep hurts you when you buy used. Used, you do better with US makes but you need to be careful do your research and have some mechanical common sense. I'd get another Hemi powered Grand in a heart beat....its the ultimate sleeper....I've surprised a few drivers that didn't think a 4x4 was all that fast...well...some are....even if they don't look it...
The last one I test drove for fun...with my 18 year old son....was a 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T...5.7 Hemi 375 hp 6 speed manual. It was the most fun I've had in a vehicle since I drove my brother's first Ferrari back in '99. That thing was just so fun...and....had 32 K mikes on it....still under factory warrantee...they wanted $25,900....not bad for that much fun....

most of the time a good deal is too good to be true.......many of us have seen this just in boat purchases.
I see this all the time as Bliss will tell you many junks come through my Toyota dealer that were taken in trade and after we check them out they go right to the auction

Yeah I've learned auction cars = garbage cars.

How are CPO Toyotas? Generally speaking they should be pretty near mint perfect right? No worries?

They are worth it because everything from brakes, tires(matching), etc.. have to be at 75% or better to pass the cert program.
I believe the warranty is better as well

Toyota offers a "blanket" warranty covering everything under the sun for the first year you purchase the CPO, and all CPO's come with the standard Toyota 7 year/100k mile warranty on top of that effective from their original sold date. So if I get a 2012 with 30k miles I don't have to worry about a thing until 2019 or 100k miles, whatever comes first. You pay a little extra for the truck, but I guess you get the piece of mind.

Just saying....

just about every company has a policy like that...you may not have it "included in the price" but then again the purchase price is lower so adding the warranty evens it out. My 2010 dodge ram has a 5 year factory, I added a 5 year bumper to bumper plus tire coverage..I ran over some nails 3 months after I got it and they replaced three tires no charge. That tire warranty cost me $500 bucks, and the three tires were $450 installed so i am already almost even and have only had the truck a year. I was able to negotiate the cost of the warranty unlike toyota "Including" it in the price.

If you go in to buy a vehicle with some knowledge about what you are doing you can walk away a winner...I made money on my last used vehicle...I bought a ford Spot-trak from a toyota dealer when they were having all of their recall issues and couldn't give a car away... I wanted that truck and kept beating them up until they practically gave it to me...

Good luck with finding a good truck Ric, just want you to keep an open mind...you wanted a four winns but you are sportin the chap....again just sayin...

youwon'thearitfrommebutchapisbetterqualitythanfourwinns

There might be better out there than a Tundra, but I love the looks of the Tundra and how you can modify the engine to 500hp with a bolt on that doesn't void the warranty. I'm sold. There's nothing else in my eyes.

I'm coming back to Four Winns but not til I purchase a truck and pay it off. Kinda like the Tundra, I love the styling and layout of the 248 Vista.
