I just picked up two new Goodyear Marathon radial trailer tires from tirerack.com for $95 each plus shipping 225/75/15 D rated 8 ply. Load at 2540 lbs max. Total was $225 delivered just for the rubber. So you got a great deal.
I trailer from Florida to Maine 1600 miles each way with my single axle trailer so I change my tires every 3rd year just as a precaution. I also carry two spares.
Rob

Back in action baby. Rim/tire upgrade from 13's to 15's with just enough room to spare. Rated at 1850lb per tire for a 3800lb boat should trailer without issues considering two tires can support the whole lot. Don't mind the optical illusion caused by the bent fender and blown out tire. The hubs are straight. A big pipe wrench and pipe fixed that fender right up.

Wheels/tires look great. I'm confused by your trailer though....are your bunks vertical, or is it a perspective thing?

Two 2x6 bolted together in vertical mounting. Very strong.

that is how the bunks on dads CC are very common for deeper V boats. as stated super strong..

rid you may consider trailer bunk slides. http://www.wholesalemarine.com/boat-trailer-bunk-slick-kit-10-piece.html?gclid=CLzjn-evn74CFenm7AodHEIAQg they are amazing. like wax paper on a metal slide as a kid. boat will launch streak and scratch free like a hot knife in butter..

I wouldn't go the trailer slide route unless your having issues such as having a very flat ramp. If you use them then hard to stick the boat on a steep ramp....

How do you know there is clearance to spare when you don't have the boat on the trailer? I'm thinking that as the trailer receives the load, the fenders will get much closer to the tires.

There's plenty of room. Its a trailer suspension not an offroad vehicle you don't need more than a few inches.

Ahh. I was thinking it was an offroad vehicle. Gotcha.
