Just got the brochure that shows Ram now has a V6 diesel in the 1500. Shows 28mpg with 9500 lbs tow capacity. This wouldn't be year to buy being the first edition, but worth monitoring reviews.

Yea, I'm curious how it pans out. I don't believe it's a Cummins either..

Same engine as in the Grand Cherokee. VM Motori Diesel. No idea how good they are but they are selling well.

Backlog to order a V6 diesel is 3-4 months. They can't get enough motors to keep up with the demand.

Nice idea but make mine a 6.4 Hemi. 410 hp 429 ft lbs of torque and thousands cheaper. Love the Hemis.

Love my Hemi Ram. Would like to drive a diesel to compare. Mileage would be nice.
