Well the ratchet spring have given up, so after weeks of messing with ratchet to get straps tight, as I got a decent amount of tension on them they bounced free. I bought a pair of BoatBuckle G2 Transom Tie Downs 3000lb breaking strain, (for loads up to 1000lbs). They are 2inch wide. Is that strong enough for my H200 Frenzy. It says Do Not Over Tighten. How tight do you ratchet your up?

Thanks Ray

I get them snug then one more click. I feel the strap to make sure tight so strap doesn't flap around...just needs some pressure. Remember it really just holds trailer snug to bottom of boat. I always loosen them when parked.

Thanks for the tip, I have never loosened them before when it's sitting on the drive, but when it goes into winter storage they will not loosen them.
