Yes, I am ashamed. I'll try to make it look good in the final pictures.

We spent a couple days in this coffee colored water of Lake Okeechobee and the Caloosahatchee River. That doesn't help:

Just curious, does the trailer have springs? Or is that torsion springs? Hard to tell? :)

Yes, they are Tortion Bar Axels, similar to these pictures below. Mine do not have the removable spindles, and are 5 lug, 3500# axels, galvanized, with super lube hubs.

I grew up in South Georgia. I didn't know that river and lake water looked like anything but really dark iced tea or coffee. That way you can't see the snakes and Gators coming to get you.

Hey Ray...

I know it's been awhile since this thread was last used, but do you have any photos of the finished product...? Your work looks amazing...!

LOL, I still haven't finished it! Everything is done except applying the decals that I had made up. I have been using the trailer and it's been working great.

I just recently installed the fenders, so I had taken these two photos.

I plan to post more photos after clean it up and install the decals. One thing that is slowing me down, is that there is black soot embedded from torch heating the aluminum when making the bends. Simple green and some other cleaners did not succeed in cleaning up this black soot. Hoping I don't need to sand it off.

Thanks for the update, Ray...!

I think you did a wonderful job. Fenders look really good.

Decals will finish it off nicely.

.
I finally "finished" my trailer project! Got around to adding the decals that I had made by a local sign shop.
.
Do I have the worlds only "Four Winns Aluminum I-Beam Trailer" ?
.

So the question now becomes, when will you start taking orders from those of us who live near salt water, Ray?
