Hi. Wondering if someone with a newer Four Winns single-axle trailer can give me a quick measurement so I can determine the rise/drop I need for my ball mount. If anyone can measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the coupler (when the trailer is level), I'd be really grateful! I'm not near a Four Winns dealer for the next month or so and can't go measure it myself. I've gotten different measurements from calling salesmen, so I thought you guys could give me a more accurate answer. I'll probably be buying an 18' Horizon and I'm trying to do all my shopping in advance so all I have to do is hook it up and drive away.

Thanks guys!

What type of tow vehicle will you be using? Need to know how much sag the rear will have so you can compensate with the mount.

18" from the ground to the bottom of the ball where it bolts to the receiver insert. I tow with a 3/4 ton pickup so not much sag, an SUV may sag an inch or so.

I have a list a mile long of stuff to buy and stuff to think about, but I'm sure I'll forget something. Like the drain plug.

At least the rise of my ball mount will be perfect as my new boat is sinking at the dock.

If you are like most of us you will forget the plug, but only once! LOL.
I've got a pretty good check-list for the boat that I put together over the years, if you want to PM me I can send it to ya.
