Hi
Has anyone here ever replaced an entire crossmember on their trailer??
If so, did you have it made or buy it from Four Winns?
Thanks
Bernd

I have not but the trailer engineering division of FW is quite helpful. You may want to give them a call or talk to your dealer. He may be able to order the part.

Hi Scott
I gave them a call this morning but it seems that most of their people are out at a boat show somewhere. I'll call them back next week and ask.
Thanks

Bernd

FW is having their big annual dealer meetings this week. Anybody who's anybody there is unavailable until at least this Friday, more likely next week.

There was a poster on the Yahoo board who worked in the trailer plant. Wish we could get him to join up here. Any one remember his name?

Hey Guys

Thanks for your comments here. I contacted Bill at Four Winns and he informed me that they would have no way of supplying me with a subcomponent such as the rear crossmember. His suggestion, which I sort of already assumed, was to have a metal shop build me a new crossmember, which is what I am having done.
Oh well, it certainly didn't hurt to try...

Regards
Bernd
