Post subject:  Leaf spring length?

Does anyone know what length leaf springs are used on the trailers that Four Winns uses? Are they standard? I have a 2002 214 Funship tandem axle with 3500lb axles.
4 leafs, double eye, 1.75" wide, but how long? 25 1/8", 27", other?

I broke a leaf, and am going to replace all the suspension components and would like to order it all up before ripping into it.

19 year old trailer (galvanized) that I dip in salt water frequently - pretty good longevity, but I probably should have replaced it all years ago...

Thanks!

Take a look at www.easternmarine.com www.trailerpartsdepot.com
or www.etrailer to see what sizes match up

Thanks Lou - I did that with eTrailer, and came up with the 2 different lengths. Eastern Marine has even more options.

I think I'll have to disassemble one side to get take off and measure the unbroken one.

And this time, I'll probably do your bearing grease/Boeshield T-9 routine.

If you can jack up the trailer so that the load is off the springs on one side you might be able to get the actual length. On my single axle I have a 5 leaf spring 26” long on each side that are rated for about 2800 lbs each. If you really want em to last you can paint em with a couple coats of rustolium first then coat with grease. Constantly have to stay ahead of salt water!
