Anybody got any good or bad suggestions about towing a Horizon 220? I have an aging Discovery TD5 that has been good, but a bit gutless and needs replacing.

Hi,
I have a Landcruiser Ute, new 70 series with 4.5 V8 turbo Diesel. Has a ton of Grunt. If you need more seats, get the Troopy version they are are great car, no where as agricultural as they used to be.

My guess is that the TD5 will do it, but s-l-o-w-l-y... :P Really depends how far you have to tow. I use a RWD Territory for my 190 and it tows it like a dream even as fast as 130kph.. :shock: , my guess as the ideal vehicle for a 220 would be a Land Cruiser or Patrol etc.

Well I solved it. Bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee which seems to not even know if the boat is attached or not!

Hello to all you guys from Down Under!!

I am always fascinated by the different styles of trucks, suv's that are available abroad... Could you guys snap some pictures of them and post them here? I would like to see how you guys customize them too. Are there guys at your ramps with fancy trucks to match there boats?
