I have a dual axle ez-loader trailer and I forgot to remove the safety brake cable from the truck and when I pulled forward, it pulled the safety brake cable and set the brakes. How do you reset the brakes? I didn't see an obvious reset button or anything like that on the trailer.

Thanks!!

According to the FW Horizon Owners Manual...

8. If the break-away system is accidently applied while unhitching, insert a flat-bladed screwdriver into the spring clip slotted hole under the actuator and pry down to release. See Figure S-13. (without the pic it's a bit hard to see...)

See if you can find your owners manual and have a look in there, otherwise you can download it from the FW site.

Hope this helps....

yea, let me tell you something about that tab. Get a really big screwdrive and pull down hard. Really hard, and just when you think you are prying too hard and will break it..... pry harder

Really you would be better to just hook the safety activation chain to the bow eye and back the boat off your trailer  they really don't make the hole big enough to get an acceptable sized prybar (3 FT?) in there.

Yea I thought it was a huge joke how hard you have to yank on it to get it to reset. Did you ever get yours reset.
